Last week we have learnt that a hindrance, by definition, is whatever creates difficulties for [someone or something], resulting in delay or obstruction.

We are sometimes surrounded by heaps of regret from yesterday and piles of worry about tomorrow, which render us unable to run our unique race in life.

Life won’t ever be completely free from concerns, but knowing to whom we can entrust them provides the peace which comes from an untroubled mind.

God is always glad to take these hindrances from us, no questions asked, if only we’ll hand them over.

Some of us feel like we have been dead in our circumstances for a long time, but when we have an encounter with our Resurrected King, our eyes become opened, our ears begin to hear what He is saying to us, and our hearts begin to burn with new passion for Him.

When we accept Christ, that same resurrection spirit is alive in us. We used to have to carry the weight of our own sin, but the resurrection power takes all of our sin, sickness, depression, and oppression and gives us instead the promise of eternal life and fellowship with God. That is an awesome exchange!
